Image Drum Cartridge Life

The life of an image drum depends on a number of factors,
including temperature and humidity, the type of paper you use,
and the number of pages per job.
The image drum cartridge should last about 10,000 pages at one
page per job, 16,000 pages at three pages per job and 20,000
pages at fifteen pages per job. These numbers are approximate,
since you do not print the same number of pages each time, and
environmental conditions and paper type used may vary.

When to Replace the Image Drum Cartridge

When the drum reaches 90% of its life, the Status Monitor on
the OKIPAGE 6e or the message window on the OKIPAGE 6ex
displays CHG DRUM. At this point, be sure you have a new
drum on hand. Replace the old one as soon as the print quality
becomes faint or starts to deteriorate.
