3 Lift the image drum, with toner installed, out of the
printer. Discard both in accordance with local regulations.
4 Close the printer cover.
Caution!
To avoid damage to the drum, do not touch the shiny
green surface.
5 Unwrap the new image drum, but leave the protective
paper (1) in place.
6 Loosen all the tape holding the foam shipping insert, then
carefully remove the insert (there is toner on the bottom of
the insert—be careful not to spill it!).
7 Remove the new toner cartridge from the packaging and
shake it from side to side a few times to distribute the
toner evenly.
