If you have hidden the camera's image (see page 37), the camera's image
will be displayed if the sensor is triggered.
Turning the alarm on
Press ALERT to turn the alarm on.
The alert indicator will turn green.
Stopping the Alarm
Press ALERT to turn the alarm off.
The alert indicator light will go out.
After turning the alarm off, pressing ALERT again will turn it back on.
Changing the Alarm Volume
You can change the alarm volume and turn the alarm volume off (see page 82).
Turning off the Flashing Sensor Indicator
When Sensor Alert mode is on, or when using the sensor for set recording times
(see page 50 and page 60), the sensor indicator will continue to flash once the
camera's sensor has been activated.
To turn it off, press 1 while [Stop Flashing LED] is displayed at the bottom of the
[Menu] screen.
[For Computer Users]
When a local camera is set to be used with the timer or sensor recording feature,
the camera's Trigger No. 5 (which can be set using your computer by accessing the
camera's [Buffer/Transfer] screen) is used for recording. If you also use a computer
to access your cameras, do not set Trigger No. 5. For more information refer to
"Buffering or Transferring Images by Timer", "Buffering or Transferring Images by
Sensor", or "Buffering or Transferring Images by Motion Detection" in the Operating
Instructions included with your camera.
