Use
of
adapter plug
Becauseof potentialsafety
hazardsunder certain conditions,
westronglyrecommendagainstuse
of an adapterplug.However, i fyou
stillelect to use an adapter,where
localcodespermit,a TEMPORARY
CONNECTION maybe made to a
properlygrounded~wo-prong wall
outletby useof a ULlistedadapter
(Fig.2) availableat mostlocal-
hardwarestores.
TEMPORARY METHOD
The larger slot in the adapter
mustbe alignedwith the larger slot
in the walloutlet to provideproper
polarityin the connection of the
powercord,

120volts.Suchextensioncords
are obtainablethroughyour local
serviceorganization.
The refrigerator should
always b&plugged into its
owmindividual electrical
outlet—
(115 volt, 60 Hertz, or 100volt,
50Hertz,singlephaseAC).This is
recommendedfor bestperformance
and to preventoverloadinghouse
wiringcircuits, whichcould cause
a possiblefire hazard from over-
heating wires.
Refrigerator kstallation
Location
Do not install refrigeratorwhere
temperature will go below M)*F.
because it willnot run often enough
to maintain proper temperatures.
Do install it on a floor strong
enough to support a fully loaded
refrigerator.

Leveling Legs

enoughthat the door closeseasily
whenopenedabout halfway, T hese
legsare located behindthe base
grille.
To
adjustleveling Iegst
remove
base grilleby graspingit at bottom
and pullingit straight out.
Turn levelinglegsc~ockwise
to raise
refrigerator,
counterclockwise to
lower
it.
When adjustinglevelinglegs for
proper door closure, the bottom
front edge of the cabinet should be
approximately5/8" from the floor.

To
replace the base grillet
align
prongs on back of grillewith clamps
in cabinet and push forward until
grille snaps into pklce.
