To interconnect the JVC RX-ES1SL and wire the speakers:
1. Turn off all components before making any connections.
2. Connect the speakers: - Use speaker wire to connect the (+) and (–) terminals on the rear panel of the RX-ES1SL to the matching (+) and (–) terminals on each speaker. - Connect the front left, front right, center, left surround, and right surround speakers to their respective terminals.
3. Connect a subwoofer (if available) to enhance bass. Use the subwoofer output on the receiver.
4. Set the speaker settings after all speakers are connected, to get the best surround sound effect.
5. FM antenna: If using an outdoor FM antenna with a 75 Ω coaxial cable, disconnect the supplied FM antenna before attaching it.
