Correct Coffee Grind

For best results, the coffee must be a medium grind. The correct medium grind should
be look and feel gritty, like sand or salt.

If the grind is too fine, the water will not flow through the coffee, even under pressure.
Fine grind looks and feels like flour.

If the grind is too coarse, the water flows through too quickly and the coffee will not
develop its full flavor.
Before First Use
Before using the coffee machine for the first time, clean the reservoir with clean water once
or twice.
Preheating cup
1.
Fill the reservoir with water and put back with two rubber pipes immersed in water.
2.
Insert the filter holder (with the filter) into the brewing head and rotate it anti-clockwise until it is
firmly set.
3.
Insert the plug into a 230-240V AC power outlet and press ON/OFF button with the red indicator
on, then press COFFEE/WATER button at once to pump water.
4.
When water comes out through the filter, press COFFEE/WATER button again to stop pumping
water.
5.
When the green indicator is on, the temperature of the water in boiler is high enough to make
coffee, now put an empty cup under the filter, then press COFFEE/WATER button again, pouring
the boiled water into the cup to preheat it.
6.
When the cup is full of water, press COFFEE/WATER again to stop pumping the water.
7.
The hot water in the cup can be discarded.

Making Espresso Coffee

Follow the steps below to make espresso coffee:
1.
Fill the water reservoir with cold water.(Do not overfill)
2.
Plug the appliance into the power outlet, checking that the drip tray and grill are correctly located.
3.
Press ON/OFF button with the red indicator on.
4.
Pre-heat your coffee cups as mentioned in the "Preheating cup" section.
5.
Select the required filter for 1 or 2 cups of coffee.
6.
To fit the filter in the handle, place your thumb on the filter lock and slide it in the direction of the
arrow that is marked on the handle. Insert the filter into the handle while holding the filter lock.
Release the filter lock to lock the filter into position.
7.
Using the measuring spoon supplied, place one or two measures of ground coffee into filter. With
the other end of the measuring spoon, use the tamper to push (back) down the coffee grinds
slightly. Do not apply too much pressure.
Important: Be sure that you do not over-fill the filter with too much coffee, and
wipe around the edge of the filter to remove any coffee grinds.
8.
Place the filter handle on the machine's brewing head. Slide the filter lock (towards the arrow on
the handle) carefully and position the handle so that it points to the left. Place the filter handle
flat against the brewing head so
towards the right as far as it can go.
Note: Do not over tighten
9.
Place 1 or 2 preheated cups below each of the holes in the filter holder.
10. Press the COFFEE/ WATER button only when the green indicator is on. You will hear the machine
making a pumping noise, this is normal.
