SETUP Wi-Fi CONNECTIONS

Step 1: To start using the Body Composition Monitor with eSmartHealth cloud management service, visit
eSmarthealth.com/device
Then sign up and follow the instructions to get started.
Step 2: After completing the above eSmartHealth registration, you can pair the Tanita Body Composition Monitor with your Wi-Fi
router.
If your Wi-Fi router supports WPS, you can use the WPS pairing method.
1. Press the WPS button on the router (for details on how to operate the router, see
the router instruction manual.)
2. Press and hold the SET button on the Body Composition Monitor for 5 seconds.
The LED lamp will flash green.
3. When pairing is completed, YES will be displayed on the screen, and the LED
light will be green. However, if Err is displayed and the LED lights red, pairing
has failed.
Check that you are operating the devices correctly, and try again.
If your Wi-Fi router does not support WPS, you can use the
TANITA BCM Wi-Fi Set PC software.
1. Download the Wi-Fi Set application from eSmartHealth.com/
tanita/software and install it to your PC.
2. Connect the BCM to your PC using the USB cable included in
the package.
3. Click the "Wi-Fi Setting (Manual)" tab and then click the
"Search" button.
4. Select the "Wireless Network", input the Password of that
"Wireless Network" and then click the "Connect" button.
5. Once "You are now connected to a wireless network." is shown,
setup is complete.
Note: PC requirement: CPU speed (at least 400 MHZ,
recommended 1 GHZ), Memory size (at least 96 M, recommended 512 M), OS supported (eg. Windows XP, Vista, 7, etc)
Step 3: Once you have completed the Wi-Fi setup, your personal information (birthday, sex, and height) stored at eSmartHealth
will be automatically pushed to your Body Composition Monitor, its calendar and clock will also be adjusted. Your Body
Composition Monitor will be ready to take measurements.
Explanation
When personal information is registered, date of
birth is a required input.
Batteries are low and need to be replaced.
The scale is in wireless mode.
