1 Overview of SmartView Synergy SI
1.1 Introduction
SmartView Synergy SI is an electronic desktop
magnifier that enlarges text, objects and actions to
help restore and maintain independence for people
with macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy or
other low vision eye conditions.
1.2 Unpacking the system
The package contains the following items:
Synergy SI Base unit
LCD screen
Control panel
Power supply (AC power cable and Universal
power supply)
User Guide
Getting Started Guide
Tutorial DVD
1.3 Configuration
The SmartView Synergy SI has an integrated 22" LCD
screen and a fixed Control panel. A remote control
panel is optional.
Note: The Remote control panel is attached to the base
of the unit by a cable. The Fixed control panel is
attached to the integrated LCD screen. All features of
the control panel are also found on the remote control
panel.
