Managing Channels

Using the Channel Manager, you can conveniently add/delete or lock/unlock channels.
Channel List
Adding / Deleting channels
Using the Channel List, you can add or delete channels.
Move to the ( ) field by pressing the ▲/▼/◄/► buttons, select a channel to be
N
added, and press the ENTER E button to add the channel.
If you press the ENTER E button again, the ( c ) symbol next to the channel
N
disappears and the channel is not added.
Locking / Unlocking channels
This feature allows you to prevent unauthorized users, such as children, from watching unsuitable
programmes by muting out video and audio. This function is available only when the Child Lock
is set to on. (see page 18)
Move to the ( \ ) field by pressing the ▲/▼/◄/► buttons, select a channel to be locked, and

press the ENTER E button.
The PIN number input screen appears. Enter your 4 digit PIN number.

The default PIN number of a new TV set is '0-0-0-0'. You can change the PIN, by selecting
N
Change PIN from the menu.
If you press the ENTER E button again, the ( c ) symbol next to the channel disappears and
N
the channel lock is canceled.
A blue screen is displayed when Child Lock is activated.

You can select these options simply by pressing the CH LIST button on the remote
O
control.
Sort
This operation allows you to change the programme numbers of the stored channels. This operation may be necessary after using
the auto store.
Name
Channel names will be assigned automatically when channel information is broadcast. These names can be changed, allowing you
to assign new names.
