1. From the Home screen, tap
ACCOUNTS ➔ Back up and reset.
2. Tap Factory data reset.
The Factory data reset screen displays reset
information.
3. Tap RESET DEVICE, then follow the prompts to perform
the reset.
Warning! Performing a Factory data reset will erase all data
from your phone and internal SD card, including your
Google account, system and application data and
settings, and downloaded applications. It will not
erase current system software, bundled applications,
and external SD card files such as music and photos.

Location

The Location settings allow you to set up how the phone will
determine your location and the sensor settings for your
phone.
1. From the Home screen, tap
MORE ➔ Location.
2. Tap the ON/OFF slider
➔ Settings ➔
➔ Settings ➔
to turn it on.
Locating Method
1. From the Home screen, tap
Locations ➔ Mode.
2. Tap one of the following to make a selection:
• High accuracy: Use GPS, WI-Fi and mobile networks to
estimate your location.
• Power saving: Use Wi-Fi and mobile networks to estimate
your location.
• GPS only: use GPS to estimate your location.
My Places
Your device can provide relevant information and services by
recognizing when it is in a specific location.
1. From the Home screen, tap
More ➔ Locations ➔ My places.
2. Tap Home, Work, or Car to add place.

Tap
and enter a place name.
3. Tap Select method and select how the device should
recognize the location (Map, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or None).
