    The electric motor has been designed for 230V and 240V only. Always check that the power supply corresponds to the voltage on the rating plate. Note: The supply of 230V and 240V on Ozito tools are interchangeable for Australia and New Zealand.

    OPERATION BEFORE ATTACHING OR REMOVING ANY ACCESSORIES FROM THE DRILL, BE SURE TO DISCONNECT THE DRILL FROM THE POWER SUPPLY. Depth Rod The metal depth rod (11) allows you to drill to a predetermined depth. Loosen the 360° side handle (9) by turning anti-clockwise. Feed the metal depth rod (11) so the drill bit extends beyond the end of the metal depth rod (11) to the required drilling depth.

    OPERATION (cont.) Fitting and Using the Dust Cover The dust cover (17) catches dust and debris generated while using the drill over head. It’s advised to use the dust cover (17) when drilling over head to minimize dust and debris entering the drill’s air vents and extending the drill’s life.
  • Page 10 OPERATION (cont.) Hammer Drilling Mode Rotate the side mode selector (4) to the hammer and drill icon, and rotate the rear mode selector (8) to the drill and hammer icon. This setting is recommended for use when drilling holes in concrete and other masonry products. The hammer action will be in operation while simultaneously the drill bit rotates.

    Always replace both carbon brushes at the same time. Note: Ozito Industries will not be responsible for any damage or injuries caused by the repair of the drill by an unauthorised person or by mishandling of the drill.
