7. Battery Replacement

• The device requires two AAA Alkaline batteries.
> open the battery compartment.
> For this purpose, slide down the battery compartment lid on the back.
• Take the used batteries out of the battery compartment.
• insert new batteries.
> observe the correct polarity.
• close battery compartment.
> used batteries should not be disposed of in normal household waste.
> dispose of batteries in accordance to local recycle regulations.
Cautions
if you do find the batteries have leaked fluid please do not touch the batteries or
fluid.
dispose of the batteries properly do not wrap in metal or aluminium foil, wrap in
newspaper and dispose of carefully. batteries may explode if burnt or exposed to
excessive heat.
