ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
2. Installing the grass catcher bag
‡ /LIW WKH UHDU GLVFKDUJH FRYHU . 
‡ /LIW WKH JUDVV FDWFKHU ' E\ LWV KDQGOH DQG
place under the chute cover so that the
hanger hooks on the grass catcher frame are
seated into the slots in the handle bracket.
‡ 5HOHDVH WKH UHDU GLVFKDUJH FRYHU .  :KHQ
installed correctly, the hooks on the grass
catcher will rest securely in the slots on the
handle brackets
3. Removing the mulching plug
‡ 7R UHPRYH WKH PXOFKLQJ SOXJ %  OLIW WKH UHDU
discharge cover (K).
‡ *UDVS WKH KDQGOH RI WKH PXOFKLQJ SOXJ DQG SXOO WKH
mulching plug (B) out using the handle.
‡ 7KH PXOFKLQJ SOXJ % LV LQVHUWHG RQ DQ DQJOH VR LW
requires some force to remove it.
‡ 7KH PXOFKLQJ SOXJ % PXVW EH UHPRYHG LQ RUGHU WR
install the grass catcher bag.
‡ 7KH PXOFKLQJ SOXJ % PXVW EH UHLQVWDOOHG ZKHQ
the grass catcher bag is removed.
4. Installing side discharge chute
‡ /LIW WKH VLGH GLVFKDUJH FRYHU - 
‡ $OLJQ WKH JURRYHV RQ WKH VLGH GLVFKDUJH FKXWH
(C) with the pins on the underside of the side
discharge cover (J).
‡ /RZHU WKH VLGH GLVFKDUJH FKXWH & XQWLO WKH KRRNV
on the mower deck are secured in the openings in
the side discharge chute (C).
‡ Release the side discharge chute (C) and side
discharge cover (J).
