• I t may occur that learning a key function fails the first
• I f you keep having trouble learning key functions,

Make sure that you have the original remote control at
hand.
Select the desired device
(e.g. DVD). Press the
device selection key to
select DVD.
• T he key lights up.
Place both remote controls
on a flat surface (like a
table) and aim them
head-to-head with about 5
- 10 cm in between.
Keep the key and the
key you wish to learn on
the SRP5004 (e.g. the
key) pressed simultaneously
for 5 seconds, until the red
Setup LED light up.
• T he remote control is now in learn mode.
Press and hold the key that you wish to learn on the
original remote control until the
key gives two short blinks and both key and Setup
go out to confirm that learning was successful.

• T he remote control has now learned the new
function.
