Loading the Magazine

The precision components of the tacker
(magazine, striker, impact channel) are
adapted for Bosch staples, nails or pins.
Other manufacturers use different steel qual-
ities and measures.
Proper operation can be guaranteed only
when using original Bosch accessories.
Press the magazine-slider latch, disengage
the magazine slider 8 and pull it out com-
pletely.
Insert the staple or nail strips into the corre-
sponding load opening 10.
Slide the magazine slider 8 into the maga-
zine 11 and engage the magazine-slider
latch.

Initial Operation

Observe correct mains voltage: The voltage of
the power source must agree with the voltage
specified on the nameplate of the machine.
Equipment marked with 230 V can also be con-
nected to 220 V.
Trigger Lock
The trigger lock 1 prevents the triggering of unin-
tended shots.
When working, slide back the safety cover 7 from
the tacker head 6. After working, immediately
slide it back under the tacker head 6.
Shot Actuation
Press the trigger lock 1 and actuate the trigger 2.

Infinitely Variable Hammer
Force Preselection
Depending on the length of the staples, nails and
pins, as well as the strength properties of the ma-
terial, varying amounts of hammer force are re-
quired.
Thumbwheel 9 to 1 =
Thumbwheel 9 to 6 =
The following table contains the information on
the hammer force preselection:

*6 mm staples, resin-covered
The table serves only as a recommendation.
Even for same wood types, large differences in
hardness and density are possible. The most fa-
vourable hammer force adjustment is determined
through practical testing.
