Before removing the WWAN module, follow these steps:

Remove the WWAN module:

The WWAN module and the WLAN module are not interchangeable.
Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer.
Disconnect all external devices from the computer.

Disconnect the WLAN antenna cables (1) from the terminals on the WLAN module.
NOTE: The red WWAN antenna cable is connected to the WWAN module "Main" terminal.
The blue WWAN antenna cable is connected to the WWAN module "Aux" terminal.
Remove the two Phillips PM2.0×3.0 screws (2) that secure the WLAN module to the
system board. (The WLAN module tilts up.)
