Transport, storage and unpacking

The DV-2 must be transported horizontally.
If the DV-2 is placed in storage it should be stored in a horizontal position.
The DV-2 must be lifted from the bottom side of the box.
The packaging material must be disposed of in an environmentally friendly way.

Installation

The DV-2 must be mounted horizontally on a roof upstand.
The roof structure upon which the fan is to be installed must be sufficiently sturdy. A weak roof construction may
lead to unwanted vibrations.
The fan must be attached to the roof upstand with four bolts. Make sure the roof upstand/foundation is sufficiently
strong to support the roof fan even during heavy weather conditions.
A gasket must be installed for the air-tight seal between the roof upstand and the fan.
The switch/regulator should preferably be placed on the fan's shady side so that the impact of the sun will be
minimal.
The power cable and any controller cable should be run into the building through the connector openings in the
base. If the cable connectors are not to be used, then cap these off so that no water may leak inside of them.
The DV-2 must be connected according to the local applicable regulations.
The fan is designed for continuous use and should not be turned off and on more than once every five minutes.
The permissible extraction temperature of the air that is to be ventilated is between -30° C and +60° C.
