Availability of network services

The network services available depend on the
model of your phone, the cellular system (AMPS
or NAMPS) on which it operates, and the services
offered by your cellular service provider.
To be able to use any of the network services, you
need to subscribe to the particular service. The
service may not be available in all cellular service
provider networks. Please contact your local
cellular service provider for further information.
Some services which may be available are listed
below and described briefly in this section:

• Calling Line Identification

• Call Waiting
• Message Waiting
• Voicemail
• Digital Messaging Service, which includes
Short Message Service and Callback Number
Service.
Calling Line Identification
When someone calls you, the
phone can display the caller's
phone number or name (or a
text message), with CALLING
flashing.
If the presentation of the caller's identity is
restricted by the network, or is withheld by the
caller, CALL - CALLER ID BLOCKED or CALL - ID
NOT AVAILABLE may be displayed instead.
The caller's name will be displayed if it is sent by
the network, or if the number sent matches the
number and name stored in your Phone Book.
