Fine tuning the TV channels

To improve the sound transmission
of the TV channel
NICAM is a digital sound transmission
system. Using NICAM, you can transmit
either one stereo channel or two
separate mono channels. However, if
reception is poor and the sound
distorted, you can turn off NICAM.

Move to { NICAM } and press 2 to
select { On } or { Off }.

Press 1 to confirm.
To finetune the TV channels

Move to { Finetune } and press 2.

Press 1 2 to fine-tune the TV channel
manually, then press the matching colour
coded button on the remote control to
select { Store }.
TIPS:
Press 1 to go back to previous menu item. Press SYSTEM-MENU to exit the menu.

Installing the DVD Recorder

Setting the time and date

If the DVD recorder has not set the time
STOP
and date correctly, set the clock manually.

Press SYSTEM-MENU on the remote
control.

Press 4 repeatedly to select { Set-up }.

Press 2 repeatedly to select
{ Time-date }.

Press 4 to select { Time } and press 2 to
enter the time field.

Press 3 4 to change the first digit and
press 2 to go to the next digit field.

Repeat step
correctly, then press OK to confirm.

Press 4 to select { Date } and press 2 to
enter the date field.

Repeat step
correctly, then press OK to confirm.

The system menu appears on the TV.
