DATA AND VOICE ROAMING

When you are outside your home network area, your phone can still connect to other networks that
your provider supports via roaming. You may need to purchase an Extended Coverage plan on your
Virgin Mobile account to allow the device to roam.
PURCHASE EXTENDED COVERAGE
 1. Touch

> Virgin Mobile
 2. Select a Voice or Data Extended Coverage plan to purchase.
ENABLE ROAMING SETTINGS
 1. With two fingers, swipe down from the status bar, and then touch
 2. Under Wireless & networks, touch More > VPN.
 3. Enable the following roaming options:
 
Roaming guard: Disable all roaming guards for Voice and Data for Domestic CDMA, Voice,
l
Data and Outgoing SMS for International CDMA networks.
 
System Select: Select Automatic to allow connections to extended coverage where
l
available.
 
Roaming settings: Choose options for roaming, including Voice and Data for Domestic
l
CDMA and International CDMA networks.
Important: When using an extended coverage plan, make sure that Domestic Voice and Data
Roaming settings are enabled.

WI-FI

To use your phone's Wi-Fi, you need access to a wireless access point or "hotspot."
Note: The availability and range of the Wi-Fi signal depends on a number of factors, including
infrastructure and other objects through which the signal passes.

TURN WI-FI ON AND CONNECT TO A WIRELESS NETWORK

It's quick and easy to turn Wi-Fi on and connect to a wireless network.
 1. With two fingers, swipe down from the status bar to open Quick Settings.
 2. Touch the WI-FI tile to turn Wi-Fi on.
 3. Touch
below the WI-FI tile to see a list of detected Wi-Fi networks.
Note: If the wireless network that you want is not listed, touch > Add network to manually add it.
