ROSSOVER
CROSSOVER (X-OVER) - Is an ad-
vanced high quality 24 dB/octave cross-
over filter section, containing two inde-
pendent filters, with a lot of options avail-
able with the DIP-switch at the rear. The
different crossover can easily be set with
switches no 4 and 5 for the high pass, and
6 and 7 for the low pass filter. The later
one can also be selected with switch no 8
for 12 or 24 dB/octave slope.
The high pass filter takes its' signal
from right and the low pass from the left
channel. This to perform a low bass with
or without effects.
You can let the HP and LP filters:
1. Follow each others crossover frequen-
cies.
2. Overlap each other, for a boost of the
spectrum between the two crossover
points.
3. Split the bands, to achieve reverse
overlap and attenuate the band between
the HP and LP filters.
CROSSOVER (X-OVER) - ett avancerat

mängd kombinationer kan ställas in med
hjälp av DIP-omkopplaren på baksidan. De
olika brytfrekvenserna ställs enkelt in med
omkopplare nr 4 och 5 för högpassfiltret,
samt 6 och 7 för lågpassfiltret. LP-filtret
kan även ställas in med omkopplare nr 8
för 12 eller 24 dB/oktavs branthet.
Högpassfiltret tar sin signal från höger
kanal och lågpassfiltret från vänster. Detta
för att kunna få en lågbas med eller utan
effekter.
Man kan låta HP och LP filtren:
1. Följa varandras delningsfrekvenser.
2. Överlappa varandra, sa att man får en
förstärkning av frekvensbandet där
delningsfrekvenserna samarbetar.
3. Sära på delningsfrekvenserna, för att
dämpa ner signalstyrkan mellan HP
och LP.

NOTE: Passive pickups may sound just as good as, or even
better than active ones in the EBS-1V2. This due to the
excellent input performance which makes some active pickups
sound noisy when compared to passive ones. EBS-1V2 will
bring new life to passive pickups.
GAIN - Control to adjust the instruments'
signal strength to the right operating level
in the EBS-1V2.
Turn up the GAIN-knob until the PEAK
LED starts flashing from the strongest
signal from the instrument.
No matter what type of pickups being
used, the input interfacing is automatically
adjusted. This means one could achieve
about the same brilliance and tone from
passive as from active instruments.

NOT: Passiva pickuper kan låta lika bra eller till och med bättre
än aktiva i EBS-1V2. Detta är på grund av att instrument-
ingången har extremt goda prestanda som gör att vissa aktiva
instrumentmikrofoner upplevs som brusiga. EBS-1V2 kan ge liv
åt gamla passiva pickuper som tidigare inte varit möjligt.
GAIN - Här justeras instrumentets signal-
styrka till rätt arbetsnivå för vidare bear-
betning i EBS-1V2.
Vrid upp GAIN-kontrollen tills PEAK
blinkar till vid högsta utsignal från
instrumentet.
Det spelar ingen roll vilken pickup som
används,
ingångsanpassningen
automatiskt. Det innebär att man i de flesta
fall kan få samma lyster och klang från
passiva som aktiva instrument.
