IMIT
COMP/LIMIT - A very low noise and fast
compressor/limiter that limits level peaks
in play. This compressor will attenuate the
signal and avoid distorting the unit when
approaching the headroom limit.. A string
may be plucked very hard and fast, without
any greater difference in level or side
effects.
The COMP/LIMIT knob sets the com-
pression ration, i.e. the level relation be-
tween the input and output. The higher the
ratio the more compression.
The LED intensity dynamically indicates
the amount of active compression.

COMP/LIMIT - En mycket lågbrusig och
snabb kompressor/limiter som utjämnar
toppar likt en stötdämpare. En sträng kan
slås an mycket snabbt och kraftigt utan att
nivån förändras nämnvärt från det lugna
spelandet. Det betyder också att distorsio-
nen reduceras eftersom nivån blir jämnare.
COMP/LIMIT-ratten bestämmer komp-
ressionsgraden, d.v.s. förhållandet in/ut för
kompressorn. Ju högre förhållande desto
mer kompression.

BAL.OUT - High quality line output. De-
signed
electronically
means the output always will adapt itself
when sending to an asymmetrical device
such as an unbalanced input, to keep a
correct balancing and level.
The signal strength from BAL.OUT is
selectable between line level or micro-
phone level with DIP-switch no 1.
Lifting the ground is a great aid in
many occasions. When required, set the
hur
DIP-switch no 2 to lower position, OFF, to
disconnect the ground from the output.
EQ - The BAL.OUT signal may be
taken pre filter (PRE), post filter and com-
pressor (POST), or simply be shut off with
OFF:
In the POST position you can also
utilize DIP-switch no 3 to take out the
signal from post effects loop as well. With
effects (default position, ON), or without
effects (OFF position).

NOTE: The BAL.OUT output may with great advantage be
connected directly into a multitrack taperecorder for best results.
This is thanks to the very high specifications of the EBS-1V2,
and can properly be compared with those of high end audio
mixing consoles.

EQ - Signalen till BAL.OUT kan tappas
före filter (PRE), efter filter och kompres-
sor (POST), eller helt enkelt stängas av
med OFF.
I POST-läget kan även DIP-omkopplare
nr 3 användas för att tappa signalen efter
effektloopen (uppfällt läge, ON), eller utan
effekt (OFF-läge).

NOT: Tappning från BAL.OUT kan med fördel göras rakt in i
