NPUT
INPUT - A low noise, high impedance
instrument input that also will power ac-
tive pickups and circuitry. If you want to
use this function, take away the 9 Volt
battery from your bass and strap + and -
pole on the battery holder.
Use a standard stereo jack plug, when
using the phantom powering from the
EBS-1V2. This will interface directly with
today's most common applications. See
figure below for connection.

The power is switchable off if you do not
wish to use this feature, or if you have a
passive instrument without built-in elec-
tronics. Set the DIP-switch no 9 to OFF
(lower position) to defeat the phantom
power.
Please consult your music dealer or
qualified service personnel for an eventual
rewiring of your particular instrument to
work properly when using the phantom
powering option.
IMPORTANT! If you are using the
phantom powering or if the DIP-switch no
9 is in the ON-position, make sure the out-
put is set to zero while plugging in the
instrument cable. Since power is attached
to the input jack, the audible pop at
connection may cause damage to speakers
and other equipment.

Strömmatningen kan enkelt kopplas bort
om man inte vill utnyttja denna möjlighet
eller t.ex. har ett instrument som inte krä-
ver batteri för att fungera. Ställ då DIP-
omkopplare nr 9 i läge OFF (nerfällt läge)
för att koppla bort strömmatningen.
Rådgör med din musikhandlare eller
serviceverkstad om någon omkoppling
måste göras i instrumentet för att ström-
matningen skall fungera tillfredsställande.
VIKTIGT! Om du använder ström-
matningen eller om DIP-omkopplare nr 9
är i ON-läge, se till att volymen är ner-
dragen när du kopplar in /ut instrument-
kabeln. Eftersom spänning ligger på in-
gångsjacket, kan smällen vid koppling
orsaka skador på högtalarelement och
annan utrustning.
