Photographic Experts Group. This type of compression is most
commonly used for compressing photos and graphics because it
can compress the fi les effi ciently.

Smart Range
Use the Smart Range function to get detailed
expressions of dark and bright areas. Apply
Smart Range before you shoot.
Note that the level of brightness adjustment
for [Smart Range 2] is set higher than [Smart
Range 1].
If Smart Range is set too high, noise may appear in your pictures.
