I have 2 units. One unit stopped working. Replaced batts in faulty remote. Both remotes will activate the other unit. Neither remotes will activate the unit not working. Does the MSHV25D1S have a manual operating switch? Cut out switch checked and turned on. External power switch is on. Does not illuminate the power indicator light on wall unit. Is there something I've missed here? Unit has done very little work, and just didn't turn on. Found remote batts flat. Just has not worked since, even though the same remote works fine on the other unit.

The provided context does not mention a manual operating switch for the Braemar MSHV25D1S unit. A possible reason the unit may not turn on, despite the remote working on another unit, could be compressor protection, which prevents the compressor from restarting for 3 minutes after it stops. Another reason could be battery or signal issues with the remote, but this is not explicitly detailed in the context.

Therefore, the unit may not turn on due to compressor protection, but there is no mention of a manual operating switch.

Answer: The unit may not turn on due to compressor protection delay; no manual operating switch is mentioned.
