T MISFEED REMOVAL
T PAPIERSTAUBESEITIGUNG
When a misfeed occurs the copier will stop and the
( t ) indicator blinks. If a misfeed occurs in the paper
tray or in the bypass area
quantity display.
If paper is accidentally torn during removal, be sure to
remove all pieces.
Be careful not to damage the photoconductive drum or
corona wires.
Fusing area

Misfeed in the copier
1. Press the release lever to open the
copier.
2. Carefully remove the misfed paper.
If the misfed paper is stuck in the
fusing area, lift the fusing unit lever to
remove a misfeed in the fusing area
(see below).
CAUTION
The fusing area is hot. Take care in
removing paper.
3. Gently push down the upper half of
the copier to close it.
• Confirm that the t indicator has
gone out.

Blinking
If the bypass tray becomes empty during
copying or paper has not been fed cor-
:
rectly in the bypass tray,
the copy quantity display. If copy paper is
jammed in the bypass tray, either gently
pull out the misfed paper or open the
copier and remove it.
After resetting paper press the clear (
key to cancel the blinking
Z-810
The Z-810 is not equipped with the
bypass tray.
Wenn ein Papierstau aufgetreten ist, stoppt der Kopie-
rer und die Papierstauanzeige ( t ) blinkt. Tritt der
Papierstau am Papierfach oder an der Kassette für
Mehrfacheinzug auf, so erscheint ein blinkendes
auf der Anzeige der Kopienanzahl.
Sollte ein Blatt beim Entfernen eines Papierstaus
versehentlich zerreißen, darauf achten, daß alle
Papierstücke entfernt werden.
Darauf achten, daß die Photoleitertrommel oder die
Corona-Drähte nicht beschädigt werden.
Papierstau im Kopierer
1. Entriegelungshebel drücken und Ko-
pierer öffnen.
2. Gestautes Papier vorsichtig entfernen.
Wenn das Papier in der Fixierzone
steckt, Entriegelungshebel der Fixier-
einheit anheben und das Papier aus
der Fixierzone entfernen.
ACHTUNG
Die Fixierzone ist heiß. Vorsicht beim
Entfernen des Papiers.
3. Oberteil des Kopierers vorsichtig nach
unten drücken und Kopierer schlie-
ßen.
• Sicherstellen, daß die Papierstau-
anzeige ( t ) erlischt.
Blinkendes
Wenn die Kassette für Mehrfacheinzug
während eines fortlaufenden Kopiervor-
will blink in ganges kein Papier mehr enthält oder
das Papier aus der Kassette nicht richtig
eingezogen wurde, erscheint ein blin-
