Attaching the Side Seal
and
the
Blade

)
Clean
the surface
on
which
the side seal
will
be
attached using
alcohol.
2)
Attach the side
seal
at
the
position
shown
in
Figure 4-74.
Attach the
seal
so
that
the long hole
at
its
end
is
matched
with
the
round
hole
of
the
developing
assembly
housing.

Attach
all
parts that
have been detached
except
the blade.
Make
sure
that
the
gear
is
assembled
with
the longer tooth
in
the groove.
4)
Force
the
blade
mount
against the devel-
oping
assembly
in
the
direction of
the
arrow,
and
tighten
the
two
screws.

Loosen
the
four
screws
that
hold the
blade
on
the
blade mount,
and
tighten
them
again.
