The
blank
exposure
shutter
is
moved
by
the
cam
attached
to
the
bottom
of
the
lens
when
the
lens
moves
to
the
blank
exposure
position,
which corresponds
to
the cassette
size.
The
blank solenoid (SL4)
goes
OFF
as
soon
as the blank
exposure
shutter
has
moved
to
a
cut-out
to
fix
the shutter
in
position; cut-offs
are provided
for
each
cassette
size.
DIRECT
and
ENLARGE
copies
are
made
with the
mechanism
in
this position.

When
the
REDUCE
mode
is
selected, the
lens
first
returns
to
the
home
position
and
then
moves
to
a position that
corresponds
to
the selected reduction
ratio.
At the
time, the
blank
exposure
shutter
is
moved
over
a
distance
corresponding
to
the selected reduction
ratio
by
the
cam
attached
to
the
bottom
of
the lens
to
execute blank exposure.
