Check that "ON" has been selected
as the setting for setup menu item
No.220 "AV/C CMD SEL."

Check that "AUTO" has been
selected as the setting for both setup
menu items No.882 "DIF IN CH" and
No.883 "DIF OUT CH."

When inputting signals from the
digital video interface, press the
INPUT SELECT button on the front
panel, and set the front display tube
VIDEO input selection to the
"SDTI/1394" position. For the AUDIO
input, "SDTI/1394" is automatically
selected.
<Notes>
• It is not possible to select SDTI/1394 for
AUDIO unless SDTI/1394 has been
selected for VIDEO.
• When the audio signal input from the
IEEE1394 interface is 12bit, 32kHz, only
the 2CH selected from setup menu item
No. 889 "DIF AUD IN" is recorded at
16bit, 48kHz.
