Using the steaming function
Important! Read this entire manual before using the oven. The documentation and accesso-
ries are inside the oven.
The texts in the manual correspond to the numbered diagrams.
Steaming is a healthy, tasty form of cook-
ing, as food retains its natural flavours and
preserves all its vitamins and minerals.
Only the buttons that can be activated will
light up.
Before using your new oven for the first
time, heat it up while empty (with no food in
it and with the control turned to
minutes at 250 °C). It may produce some
smoke or an odor (this is normal and is
caused by the oven heating up grease resi-
dues, etc.). When it has cooled down, clean it
by wiping the inside with a damp cloth.
7.1 Accessories. The oven has a cooking ves-
sel support, a glass cooking vessel, a tray
and a cooking vessel lid (7.1.1), which func-
tion together as a unit in the order shown
here (7.1.2), never separately.
Take the position of the cooking vessel sup-
port into account when placing it inside the
oven. It has anti-tip side stops (7.1.3).
7.2 Accessory position. Of the 5 available
positions, the most suitable for steam cook-
ing is position 1.
7.3 Cooking the food. To steam food, pour
some water into the glass cooking vessel.
The ideal amount is around 400 – 500 ml.
(7.3.1). Place the tray containing the food to
be cooked above the cooking vessel (7.3.2)
and cover the vessel with the lid (7.3.3). Close
the oven door.
Note. If you wish to increase the cooking
time, add water to the cooking vessel and
make sure it never dries up.
