    GETTING CONNECTED 1. INSERT SIM CARD • Remove back cover using the thumb catch on the bottom left corner of the handset and gently lift off. • Insert the SIM card with the gold chip facing down and the slanted edge on the top right as shown. Handy Hint You can purchase a microSD memory card to expand the memory.

    KEYLOCK ON THE KEYPAD • You can lock the keypad from accidental dialling by holding down the * key on the home screen until you see Keypad Locked message. • To unlock, press the centre button and then the * key. MAIN MENU NAVIGATION The Main Menu is a grid of icons that are used to access key features on the phone.

    SOUND AND VOLUME CONTROL You can choose one of four sound profiles to customise with your individual preferences like adjusting volume, changing message tones and ringtones. • Select Menu and navigate to Sound Profiles. • Highlight General and press the left soft key to edit the sound profile settings.

    MANAGING YOUR CONTACTS When you first switch your handset on you will be asked if you wish to import your contacts from your SIM card. Select Yes when prompted to import SIM contacts to the handset memory. Handy Hint Before you can import your contacts to your new phone, you’ll need to make sure they’re saved to the SIM card.
