Using Power Sources

The MobilePro 900 can be powered using the AC adapter or the
system's main battery, making it a truly portable system. The
MobilePro also contains an internal data backup battery whenever the
unit is connected to an AC power source.
Read the following sections for information about using the
MobilePro's power sources.
charge the MobilePro continuously for 6 to10 hours to fully charge the
main battery. Allow the 6 to10 hours to pass even if the indicator light
changes from amber to green before the 6 to10 hours have passed.
To protect your data, do not use the system until the battery is fully
charged. Recharge the battery whenever the battery charging LED
lights amber.
You must repeat this full 10-hour charge cycle only if the battery
becomes fully discharged.

Determining Battery Status

You can determine battery status by using the power icon on the lower
right-hand side of the taskbar or through the power icon in the control
panel. The icon on the taskbar displays as an electrical plug when the
battery is fully charged (battery charging LED lights green) or as a
battery while charging (battery charging LED lights amber).
To display battery status, use one of the following methods:
Double tap the battery/plug icon on the taskbar, if present.

Go to Start, Settings, Control Panel, and double tap the Power icon.
