Using the appliance

Remove the protection cap by pulling it off

the appliance (Fig. 6).
To switch on the appliance, turn the

battery compartment cover to the right
until the setting indicator points to the 'I'
indication (Fig. 7).
Before you use the trimmer for the first time,

test it on a small part of your arm or leg.
If any irritation or allergic reaction occurs,
discontinue use immediately. Do no use the
trimmer on sensitive or irritated skin.
Use the appliance as described in the rest of

this chapter.
To switch off the appliance, turn the

battery compartment cover to the left
until the setting indicator points to the '0'
indication (Fig. 8).
Put the protection cap back onto the cutting

element after use to prevent damage.
