Recycling the Internal Lithium Battery
If you should dispose of your printer, first remove the internal lithium battery for recycling according
to local codes.
Caution
Do not remove the battery cover for any reason other than removal of the internal lithium battery for
recycling prior to the disposal of the printer.

Ensure the printer is off.
* If the power is not off, press the Power button to turn off the power.

Ensure the Power lamp is off and disconnect the power plug of the AC adapter
from the power outlet.

Disconnect the USB cable and AC adapter from the printer.

Remove the screw that secure the battery cover
on the rear side of the printer using a screwdriver.

Detach the battery cover and remove the coin-
shaped lithium battery.
