I bought a OS max 25 Fx 11 and when I mounted a propeller on it and when I turned it by hand it had a lot of play in the crank push rod it gets realy tight close to top dead center on the piston and you can move the Propeller back and foward about 5 digress with out moving the piston. I think this is excessive wear in a brand new engine with out ever being run. I put caster oil in it and on the piston but it still has this crank problem.

The manual recommends injecting light machine oil through the plug hole and carburetor intake and rotating the shaft to distribute oil to all working parts.
