27. How to add or remove the serial number of
NCT-2000-XP program
The serial number of the current version of a PC Expanion is embedded in
the product. To view a serial number, click the <Info> button on the PC
Expanion's initial screen. The serial number of a product manufactured
before the year 2005 is not embedded. The serial number of a product
manufactured before the year 2005 is printed on the label at the bottom
of the product with an activation key. If your serial number is embedded
by default, you do not need to add the serial number in the NCT-2000-XP
console. Otherwise, you must add the serial number in the NCT-2000-XP
console to use the product normally.
You can add or delete serial numbers according to the procedures below.
How to add a serial number

Go to <Start> ▶ <All Programs> ▶ <NCT-2000-XP> ▶ <NCT-2000-XP
Console>. Go to <Information & Settings> ▶ Select <Serial Numbers>.
If a PC Expanion with an added serial number connects to a host
computer, the serial number is automatically displayed as shown on the
right. The 'Serial Number Location' is represented as 'Device', when a
serial number is saved in the PC Expanion by default. If a serial number
is manually added, the 'Serial Number Location' is represented as 'Hard
Disk.'

In order to add a serial number, select the <Serial Numbers> of
<Information & Settings> and then click the right mouse button. Or
move the mouse point to the right window of program and then click
the right mouse button. Select <Add Serial Number>.
