7. HIGH/TONE Knob
When having selected BASS or GTR with the INST selector, you can
adjust the tone (TONE). When having selected another, you can adjust
the higher volume (HIGH).
8. VOLUME Knob
This knob enables you to adjust the Amp Section volume.
EFFECTS section
This is where you can adjust the settings for the effects.
For additional details on each effect, refer to the "Effects" (page 8).
9. FX1 knob
This knob enables you to choose the compressor/modulation effect
and set the intensity of the effect.
To bypass the effect, rotate the knob all the way to the left.
10. FX2 knob
This knob enables you to choose the delay/reverb effect and set the
intensity of the effect that's applied to the input sound from the input
jacks. To bypass the effects, rotate the knob all the way to the left.
To apply the effect that's selected here to the microphone input, use
the FX2 SEND Knob in input Section to set the intensity of the ef-
fect. When you set the knob to the leftmost position of each type,
the delay/reverb effect that are applied to the input sound from the
input jack will be turned off.
11. TAP button, LED
This button enables you to set the time of the Delay and Reverb ef-
fects. Tap this button twice to set the time. The duration between
two taps will be used as the time value. The LED will flash in sync
with the time.
HINT: To set the time to exactly match the tempo of a song, press
the TAP button several times along with the song.

When you hold down the TAP switch for one second or more, all
effects will be bypassed, and the tuner function will turn on. For
details, refer to the "Using the Tuner" (page 8).
AUX IN/PHONES Section
12. PHONES jack
Use this jack if you're plugging directly in to a mixer, recording
device, or if you're using headphones. The output signal from this
jack is taken before the power amp.
NOTE: Connecting headphones to this jack will mute the internal
speaker.
NOTE: Be sure to use a stereo cable (TRS) for connections using the
PHONES jack.
13. AUX IN jack
This is where an external audio device such as a CD or Mp3 player
is connected. This enables you to conveniently connect an audio
player and play your guitar along with the player's output. To adjust
the volume, use the controls of the connected device.
14. WIDE/CENTER CANCEL button, LED
Press the button to turn the wide function ON (red LED lights). You
can now enjoy spacious sound with Acoustage technology. Press the
button again to turn the function OFF (LED extinguishes).
Pressing the button longer than 1 second causes the center cancel
function to go ON (green LED lights). Press the button again to turn
the function OFF.
When you turn it on, sounds in the center of the mix (vocals or solos)
of the stereo music source from the AUX IN will be turned down.
This function is useful when you want to practice vocals or guitar
in a "minus one" environment.
NOTE: Simultaneous use of the wide function and center cancel func-
tion is not possible.
