When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should be followed, including
the following:
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE. MAKE SURE TO REMOVE PRODUCT
LABELS AND WARNINGS BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE.
• DO NOT touch hot surfaces, make sure to use the handles.
• To protect against risk of electrical shock, DO NOT immerse the appliance in water or
any other liquids.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow unit to cool before
cleaning the appliance.
• DO NOT operate this or any appliance with a frayed or damaged cord or plug or after
the appliance malfunctions or is dropped or has been damaged in any manner.
Take the unit to the nearest Authorized Oster
or electrical or mechanical adjustment.
• The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer
may cause fire, electrical shock or injury.
• DO NOT use outdoors.
• DO NOT let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
• DO NOT place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, in a heated oven or in a
microwave oven.
• DO NOT use the appliance for other than it's intended use.
• When using this appliance, provide adequate air space above and on all sides for
air circulation. On surfaces where heat may cause a problem, an insulated hot pad is
recommended.
• DO NOT leave unit unattended during use.
• DO NOT touch hot surfaces " ". Surfaces are liable to get hot during use. Always
use mitts when handling hot materials and allow metal parts to cool before cleaning.
Allow the unit to cool thoroughly before putting in or taking off parts. Always use
the handles when moving the unit.
• When the unit is not in use and before cleaning, unplug it from the wall outlet.
• To protect against risk of electrical shock, DO NOT immerse the appliance in water or
any other liquids.
• DO NOT place any flammable materials in unit, such as paper, cardboard, plastic or
any materials that may catch fire or melt.
