The Pelican PS48 may not be drawing brine after cleaning the tank and suction tube due to one or more of the following possible issues:
1. The brine line may not be fully inserted into the port on the electronic head. Ensure the grey clip is removed, the brine line is fully inserted, and the clip is replaced. 2. The tank head may not be snug, which could affect suction. Turn the head to tighten it, but do not overtighten. 3. The brine tank may not have enough water. Ensure 6 gallons of water were added to the brine tank. 4. The drain line connected to the brine tank overflow barb may be kinked or submerged. Ensure it is free of kinks and not submerged.
Check each of these areas to identify and fix the issue.
