CONDITION
No power.
No sound.
No sound one channel.
Weak bass/diffused stereo image.
The C 715 does not start playback.
Disc playback sound inadvertently skips.
Noisy reception, hiss.
Reception with whistling, buzzing noise.
C 715 does not respond to SR 7 remote
control.
HANDLING DISCS
Do not touch the playback side of the disc. hold the disc by the edges so that
fingerprints do not get on the surface. Never stick paper or tape on the disc.
STORING DISCS
After playing, store the disc in its case. Do not expose the disc to direct
sunlight or sources of heat and never leave it in a parked car exposed to
direct sunlight.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
The power cord is disconnected.
Power AC lead unplugged or power not
switched on.
Mute on.
headphones inserted.
balance not centered.
Speaker not properly connected or damaged.
Speakers wired out-of-phase.
No disc is inserted.
The disc is loaded upside down.
The disc is too dirty.
For external USb source, no WMA/MP3 files
loaded.
The C 715 is subject to vibration or physical
shock from external sources.
Disc has too many scratches or has some
unwarranted imperfections/deformation.
Weak signal.
Interference from other computers, games
consoles.
batteries are flat or incorrectly inserted.
IR transmitter window on remote or IR receiver
window on C 715 is obstructed.
C 715 front panel is in very bright sunlight or
ambient light.
CLEANING DISCS
Fingerprints and dust on the disc can cause poor picture quality and sound
distortion. before playing, clean the disc with a clean cloth. Wipe the disc
from the center out.
Do not use strong solvents such as alcohol, benzine, thinner, commercially
available cleaners, or anti-static spray intended for older vinyl records.

TROUBLESHOOTING

POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS
Plug the power cord into the wall outlet
securely.
Check if AC lead is plugged in and power
switched on.
Switch off Mute.
Unplug the headphones.
Center balance control.
Check connections and speakers.
Check connections to all speakers in the
system.
Insert a disc.
Reload the disc with the label side UP.
Clean the disc.
Check if there are MP3/WMA files loaded in
the external USb device.
Change the installation location.
Replace disc.
Check station tuning. Adjust or replace
antenna.
Check station tuning. Switch off or move the
source of electrical noise.
Check batteries.
Check IR windows and ensure clear line-of-
sight from remote to C 715.
Reduce sunlight/room lighting.
