Periodic cleaning ensures efficient
operation and clear print quality.
Disconnect the power source before
cleaning the printer.
Cleaning Exterior of Cabinet
Clean the outside of the cabinet with a
soft, lint-free cloth and mild detergent.
(Dishwashing liquid works well.) Do not
use abrasive powders or chemical
solvents. Clean the windows with plain
water or mild window cleaner.
Always apply the cleaning solution to
the cloth; never pour cleaning solution
directly onto the printer.
Cleaning Inside the Cabinet
Over time, it is normal for particles of
paper and ink to accumulate inside the
printer. Paper dust and ink build-up must
be removed periodically to avoid
degraded print quality. To clean the
interior of the printer, perform the
following steps.
