Use
The GPS receiver can be used with the majority of NMEA 018 compatible map and navigation
programs. The settings in the program must be 4800 baud, 8 data bits, no parity, 1 Stop bit.
The GPS receiver can also be used for example with a Bluetooth compatible hand-held compu-
ter or mobile telephone with support for GPS. See the user manual for the hand-held computer
or mobile telephone.
Placement
-
Place the GPS receiver, where it has a free view of the sky and horizon for example on the
dashboard by the car's windscreen.
-
Remember that the GPS signals cannot go through solid materials (except glass). The GPS
signals can thus not be received, if you are indoors or in a tunnel.
Create a Bluetooth connection
When the blue indicator lights a constant light the GPS receiver is already connected via Blue-
tooth. When a connection is created, the indicator will start blinking. Ensure that the unit, which
is to be connected, supports Bluetooth.
