3. Machine description

3.1. General machine description

The machine is made up of a number of main parts; see Figure
3-1 on page 10 and Figure 3-2 on page 11. There are three
motor alternatives: 400V 3-phase (EU), 460V 3-phase (US) and
208V 3-phase (US).
The machine is based on a wheeled chassis. The motor with the
rotating grinding unit is mounted on the lower part of the chassis
enabling some movement between the chassis and the motor
assembly.
The handle can be set at several different angles. Set the handle at
the position that suits you best.
The grinding cover has a connection for an external suction hose
used for dry grinding.
The machine can easily be equipped with a large number of tools,
depending on the material to be ground. For the different tools, see
