Step 19 – Suction Hose Routing
 Screw finger-tight (1) Filter Fitting into the return line filter head
 Wrench-tighten the fitting to 1.5-3.0 Turns Past Finger Tight position.
Consider final orientation position as to not exceed the recommended
TPFT. Properly assembled fittings total thread engagement should be
3.5-6 turns.
 CAUTION: Never back off an installed pipe fitting to achieve proper
alignment. Loosening installed pipe fittings will corrupt the seal and
contribute to leakage and failure.
 Add hose clamp and connect one end of the suction hose to the Valve
to Hydraulic Tank Fitting. Torque to 77 in.-lb.
 Route hose as shown below
 Add hose clamp and connect remaining end of suction hose to Return
Line Filter Fitting. Torque to 77 in.-lb.
