Insert/remove SD card

To insert or remove the SD card, follow these steps:
Insert
1. Power the phone off.
2. Remove the back cover using the notch located at the bottom of the phone.
3. Insert the memory card into the slot with the gold contacts facing down.
4. Replace the back cover.
Remove
1. From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
2. Tap System settings.
3. Tap Storage.
4. Tap Unmount SD card and then tap OK.
5. Power the phone off.
6. Remove the back cover using the notch located at the bottom middle of the phone.
7. Gently push down on the top of the memory card until it clicks out of place.
8. Gently pull the memory card with gold from the slot.
Open or delete files using a computer
To open or delete files on the SD card using a computer, follow these steps:
1. Connect USB cable to the phone, then to a computer.
2. On your phone, tap Media sync (MTP) when the pop-up window appears.
Note: Your computer may start to automatically download a LG USB driver. Do do not unplug the USB
cable until the drivers finish installing.
3. On the computer, click the Open device to view files using Windows Explorer folder or else navigate
to and open your device's storage drive.
4. Double-click SD card.
5. Navigate to and open the desired folder.
6. Open or delete the desired files. To delete, click one time one the file, press Ctrl + D, and then click Yes.
7. When finished, safely disconnect the phone from the computer.
Open or delete files using the phone
To open or delete files on the SD card using the device, follow these steps:
1. From any Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
2. Tap File Manager.
3. Tap External SD to enter your SD card.
4. Navigate to the desired files or folders.
5. At the bottom of the screen, tap the Trash can icon.
6. Tap each folder or file to be deleted to select the file(s) or folder(s).
7. Tap Delete and then tap Yes.
Set default memory storage
By default, the device stores data on either the SD card or internal storage depending on the application. To set
the default memory storage to another location, follow these steps:
Camera
1. From any Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
2. Tap Camera.
