Troubleshooting
WARNING: Risk of electric shock
There are unprotected contacts and cables within the unit that could cause
serious injury from electric shock on contact.
• The unit is only permitted to be opened by authorized, qualified
personnel for troubleshooting purposes.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Power supply cable is not connected
to unit
Power switch off
Device is not connected to amplifier
Microphone or auxiliary equipment not
connected to unit
Volume control set to minimum
Volume controls set to MUTE
Pre-amplification not set correctly
Phantom power is switched off
External potentiometer set to minimum
Automix algorithm suppressing con-
stant signal
REMEDY
Connect power supply cable to unit
Turn power switch to on position
Connect output channel to amplifier
Connect microphone or auxiliary de-
vice to unit
Turn up volume control
Cancel MUTE by pressing the rotary
knob
Set gain control on rear panel to cor-
rect pre-amplification
Switch on phantom power for con-
denser microphone
Turn up external potentiometer
Exclude channel from automix algo-
rithm
