SET UP / BATTERIES (CONTINUED)
Optional AC Adapter
1. Connect the AC adapter (not included) into the adaptor jack on the scale platform C.
Warning: To avoid a safety hazard, use AC adapter model ADPT31 (Domestic, USA) or
ADPT30WA (International, plug kit)
2. Plug the scale's AC adapter into the power source.
3. When the AC adapter is disconnected from the scale, the scale will switch to battery power if
batteries are installed.
Note: If the set up procedure fails, refer to the troubleshooting instructions. If the problem is not
corrected, refer to qualified service personnel.
