MAINTENANCE

WARNING
ELECTRIC SHOCK CAN KILL.
For safety while maintaining the machine,
please shut off the supply power and wait for
5 minutes, until capacitor voltage drops to
safe voltage.
All service work should be conducted by an authorised
Lincoln Electric field service agent
WARNING
To avoid receiving a high frequency shock, keep the TIG torch
and cables in good condition.

MAINTENANCE ITEMS
Check for correct operation of the control knob, switches and buttons on the front of
the power source .
If the switch is not operational, replace immediately.
Check the function of the LED display. If it doesn't work, maintain or replace the
display PCB.
Check to see if fan is operating normally. If the fan is not rotating and obstruction is
not present then replace the fan.
Check the output terminals for overheating, if so change output terminals. Ensure
welding lead plugs are connected tightly.
Check welding leads and power cord for damage. If damaged replace parts.
Use a gentle dry compressed air to clean the inside of arc welding machine. Especially for
removing dust from heat sinks, and PCB components.
