4 Alignments and Adjustments

This section of the service manual explains how to use the Interfaceboard (DDC Control JIG) and how to
input the EDID data of GH17A*/GH17L***J with DDC control JIG when you replace the AD Board.

4-1 Required Equipment

The following equipment is necessary for adjusting the monitor:
• Computer with Windows 95 , Windows 98 , or Windows NT .
• DDC . exe software.
• DDC Control JIG.

4-2 Using the DDC Control JIG

After replacing the AD Board, use the DDC Control JIG to complete your service. Attach the interface
boardver. 2.0 to the flat panel monitor (FPD) as shown in the diagrams below.
