The following items are only the main points.
Points of operation
1. If this wheelchair is operated in the same way as a manual wheelchair, customer will experience
an excessively strong response, because of the power assist. Be careful until customers are
familiar with the feeling of the power assist function.
2. If traveling alone, make sure you can handle the terrain without assistance.
3. Always turn off the power and lock the parking brake when getting in and out of the wheelchair.
4. Do not operate the power switch except staying stop. Turning off the power switch while riding,
causes the wheelchair to stop suddenly, and may cause a malfunction to the unit or a rollover.
5. Do not do wheelies with the hand rim while the power switch is on. The power assist function will
be activated, and wheelies will become extremely difficult. When doing a wheelie while the power
is on, hold the tire instead of the hand rim. (This is the same as going over curbs from a stopped
state)
Points of installing and removing wheels
1. Remove the battery before installing or removing the wheels.
2. When removing the right wheel, hold onto the battery seat. Otherwise, the right wheel may spin
suddenly because its weight is unbalanced right after the stopper is loosened, and the sudden
spinning could damage the battery seat.
Points of transporting the wheelchair
1. Remove the battery and turn off the power switch.
2. When transporting the wheelchair with it folded, be careful not to let it fall. If it falls, the sensor
portion located outside may break.
3. When transporting the wheelchair on its side, insert cushioning material to prevent malfunctioning
of the sensor unit.
Points of cleaning
1. Clean with a dry cloth.
2. Do not wash the wheelchair, as this can cause malfunctioning of electrical devices.
